Irene Benitez and Teresa Mayr were both part of the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI). They accompanied local communities in their daily life, monitored and documented Human Rights violations and supported Palestinian as well as Israeli organistions, which work for a just peace in Palestine and Israel. Irene Benitez spent three months in Hebron and Teresa Mayr three months in Tulkarem.
